Dr Mayank S Pangtey, with all his years of experience from All India Institute Of Medical Sciences aimed to improve awareness of eye care and establish quality eye care services in Uttarakhand. Drishti Center For Advanced Eye Care had its humble beginning in the year 2004 , under Dr Mayank S Pangtey as a small initiative to improve eye health care in Haldwani . Since then the center has been growing and expanding its services to reach new horizons in the field of eye care.

The centre has a dedicated team of general ophthalmologist , cataract and glaucoma specialist , vitreoretinal surgeon and orbit & oculoplastic surgeon working full time with visiting squint surgeon providing advanced , personalized yet affordable round the clock eye care services to general masses. The organized functioning of the clinic has been made possible by a team of fully trained staff in all departments (medical / paramedical / administration) thereby providing friendly and timed services to patients. Drishti is involved in awareness programmes and eye camps to spread eye related awareness in the community.
